The capital investment required to install energy-efficient measures in your facility can be quite large, and many companies don’t think an upgrade is within budget. At Orange Energizing Solutions (OES), we work hard to find rebates for our clients to make an upgrade affordable.
Energy Efficiency Programs To Fund Your Project
At OES, we work with you to help leverage tax breaks on your behalf. We work with two programs to find funding for your projects—Efficiency Works and Xcel Energy. These programs provide energy efficiency offerings and rebates in many different geographic areas. Since OES is experienced in various energy efficiency programs by state, we know which ones to apply for based on your location.
- Efficiency Works: Efficiency Works is a collaboration of common efficiency programs between Estes Park Light & Power, Fort Collins Utilities, Longmont Power & Communications, Loveland Water and Power, and Platte River Power Authority. Efficiency Works provides rebates through City of Fort Collins and Longmont Power and Communications. Efficiency Works is dedicated to helping homes and businesses create a more comfortable environment and reduce their overall energy costs.
- Xcel Energy: Xcel Energy provides energy that powers millions of homes and businesses across eight Western and Midwestern states. Xcel rebates are available to anyone, regardless of their geographical location, making the decision to get an energy upgrade easier.
Available around the clock for your project.
Once we get approval from a rebate program, we work around your schedule to perform upgrades.
How We Help You Save Money
Working with Efficiency Works and Xcel Energy helps us to get tax breaks for clients just like you. We handle everything on your behalf so that you don’t have to navigate through difficult paperwork. Our process starts with an initial walkthrough and ends with a newly installed, energy-efficient solution built for your facility.
- Energy Assessment: We walk through a facility and assess all of the energy-using systems. This could take anywhere from 20 minutes to eight hours. Surveying a restaurant typically doesn’t take very long, whereas hospitals usually take much longer. Once we complete the assessment, we create a report. This report outlines the lighting a client is currently using, what we can replace, how much energy could be saved, and what the reduction could be on the client’s monthly utilities.
- Submit Pre-Approval Paperwork: If the client agrees to the project, we submit for pre-approval to either Xcel or Energy Efficiency. As soon as we get approval, we schedule a time to do the project when it is convenient for the client. We are available 24/7, so we can accommodate for specific client needs, like if a client wants an upgrade project performed during non-work hours.
- Installation: Once we schedule the project, the installation process begins with our experienced contractors across the country.
- Final Paperwork: We submit all of the final paperwork when it comes to us after the project. There is a lot that goes into the process of applying for and receiving rebates, but we handle all of this for our clients to eliminate the hassle for them.
This process, on average, takes about six to eight weeks to complete.
